Just in case you weren't convinced of Alessia Cara's potential for star power yet, the 18-year old Canadian Def Jam signee just showed off some more of her chops with a cover of Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood." Cara performed the cover, which even includes a reworking of Kendrick Lamar's verse, for BBC Radio 1. The in-studio performance is sparse with just a simple piano accompaniment holding up Alessia's acoustic guitar and singing and an occasional breakdown comes in the form of finger-snapping.
The best part? Taylor showed Alessia major props on Twitter. And now you officially can't afford to sleep on Ms. Cara any longer.

@taylorswift13 HOLD ON. WAIT. WAIT. I'm just gonna go to sleep and reawaken to make sure this is real life hold ON
