Tom Did It Connects With Zakhar For Rap/Indie-Pop Hybrid “Real Life”

The rising star from Hertfordshire connects with another formidable talent.

Just a few short years into his career and Hertfordshire-hailing artist-producer Tom Did It has already made some impressive moves and things are really heating up. He’s already worked with Sigala, Chip and Nafe Smallz, and now he’s back with another team-up, “Real Life” with Zakhar.

Tom’s cool-headed take on indie-pop-meets-rap has really hit its stride and Zakhar fits into that zone perfectly over the 169 production, doubling up on the smooth melodies and bringing even more passion out of Tom in the process.

Speaking on the inspiration behind "Real Life," Tom Did It shares: “This was the first time I worked with 169 and Zakhar as a collective but have had worked with 169 before and knew him, Zak and I could make something special, and ‘Real Life’ came to us really quick. In that session, we ended up completing three songs in total. We’re just all on the same vibe; we relate to each other a lot. We’re the same age, and we’re at the same stage in our careers. We’re the next generation coming through navigating the industry and real life.”

Whether or not the other songs will see the light of day remains to be seen. For now, hit play on the video at the top and then add “Real Life” to your playlists.
