Last month, we brought you news of SOPHIE's self-titled debut album (out Nov. 27) and its accompanying butt plug / "silicon product." Now that the release of his long-awaited set is drawing ever closer, we've got another new sonic nugget to share with you: "VYZEE". Coming once more with its own unique artwork, "VYZEE" hits all the usual SOPHIE buttons—jaunty melody, tongue-in-cheek vocal sample, hard percussion. In addition to the maximalist '90s dance-pop, there's also a faint hint of bassline, most noticeably in the helter skelter melody. A typically skewed take on pop music, the producer's sonic weirdness doesn't show any signs of getting tired any time soon.
