After a quiet 2022, Skrapz returns with his new Quincy-produced single, “Normal”.

People chanting “Skrapz is back” every time the North West London rapper releases anything, or even posts on social media, can’t be the most helpful reaction and he responds to much of that speculation here with lines like “Skrapz is back, baby; everyone calm down”. Still, it doesn’t sound like the pressure’s getting to him—far from it: “I’m meditating in the morning, I don’t wake and bake,” he continues. “I put some fruits into the blender, then I make a shake.”

Neron Power directs the visuals, putting Skrapz in the centre of a media scrum as the world’s press—including one or two recognisable faces—clamours for some answers from Skrapz. From there, it’s a quick drive to what looks like an exclusive party, but he doesn’t stay long before it’s off to the next motive—one we’re clearly not invited to.

What this means for the future remains to be seen, but we wouldn’t be surprised if there’s more Skrapz on the way sooner rather than later.
