With over a decade of experience in the game, Brixton’s Sho Shallow shares his debut project, Head Above Water.

A graduate of South London’s competitive rap scene, Sho Shallow came up alongside the likes of Sneakbo and Ard Adz, and YouTube is well stocked with freestyles and clips stretching back to the early 2010s. He has been putting in the work ever since, and this new project feels like the natural conclusion of it all, as well as the start of a new chapter.

Telling unvarnished stories of mistakes made, street drama, and the value of brotherhood in the face of the struggles he’s faced, Sho sets these stories against trappy hi-hats and rumbling 808s supplied by Ay Wonda, 3damind, Omar, Abel The Plug JustBusiness, Kaze Beats, Maxtejaa and Sarjoey. Features-wise, Sneaky and Adz are, of course, drafted in, as are Micah and USG’s Exo.
