PS Hitsquad, Kwengface Hit The Block Hard In “Proton” Video

There’s been a bit of chatter lately that drill isn’t what it once was, even that it’s softened up a little bit from its controversial roots. Well, this new head-spinner from UK drillers PS Hitsquad and Kwengface should put an end to that.

Produced by Diamond Style, “Proton” gets right back to those fundamentals, pairing the vintage drill hallmarks with some sharp-tongued brutality from the two South Londoners. It’s drill at its scuffled-knuckles toughest, but it’s also at its most lyrical. 

The video’s just as raw and straight-to-the-point, following the pair, hoods-up, masks on, as they patrol the block with only the occasional pitstop in police cells.
