Earlier this year, Stevenage-bred MC SBK set the world alight with his unforgettable appearance on Lord Of The Mics 8. Standing tall next to MCs with years of experience under their belt, SBK was the name on everyone's lips that night. Even before that, he was picking up a more than healthy buzz for cuts like "I Don't Think So" and the Asif Kid-produced "Inside", but the combination of the two has done wonders for him.

Now he's a sought-after collaborator and today we've got his latest joint effort, "Bars" with producer and 1Forty regular Fork And Knife. Together, they've created this UK funky-tinged grime thumper, capitalising on the rapid-fire bounce of the former and the snarling low-end of the latter. As SBK says, a choppy riddim like that matches his breathlessly energetic delivery perfectly. "Working with Fork And Knife was so easy to get the tune done," he tells Complex. "His workflow was mad! He nailed the beat and it suited my style and flow really well; he's a talented guy and definitely one to watch out for. It was wicked to see Toddla T and Target recognise it on radio, too."
