Two grime scene favourites, Jamakabi and Footsie have just linked up on a brand new EP called Steppers. As the title suggests, the new six-tracker is geared around the pair of them taking on various dubstep riddims, all of which were supplied by some of the finest dubstep producers to ever do it.
Kromestar, Coki and Sukh Knight each come correct with the kind of bubbling dubstep that characterised the sound's golden era. Striding confidently over the marching bass lines and the crisp beats, Steppers is a timely reminder (if one was needed) that grime MCs sit very well on dubstep and few MCs do it as well as these two.
