It may be cuffing season, but that doesn't mean you have to leap into things feet first. On "Keep The Light On", the latest offering from Danish-Jamaican singer Iris Gold, the rising star promotes the merits of taking things slow. "Netflix and chill" doesn't always have to be a euphemism. So stop lighting candles, put your shirt back on and start actually watching the film.

Production comes from Danish production team Pitchshifters who provide a snappy, chart-friendly backing for Gold's bright and breezy delivery. Playful and infectious in equal measure, "Keep The LIght On" is a welcome change from the usual wintry gloom.

"The song is about meeting up with an ex for a chat and some kind of closure, but your ex is on some seductive, Barry White, baritone and incense. And it's just about wanting to keep the light and keep things above board in the midst of all the sauciness".
