Vienna-based singer and multi-instrumentalist Robert "ESCHES" Summerfield is about to release the Sierra EP and today we've got the video for the title track. As with the video for last year's "Nomads", the "Sierra" visuals continue that strain of artfully shot black-and-white imagery, this time swapping the slowed-down effect for something even more out there. This time round, the subject matter is "loss and hope" in the midst of what appears to be a particularly painful breakup. As ever, Summerfield's sweet and delicate vocals are the star, backed by little more than a twinkling acoustic guitar and an unobtrusive production. The Sierra EP drops in full tomorrow, April 5, so until then you can enjoy the new single at the top.
