R&B producers, songwriters and all-round creatives Saux and Sjaak have recently combined as a duo to form City Park. Having put out their self-titled debut EP last year, they're now ready to release follow-up single "Symbolic Love".
The groove-filled live instruments of the EP are still present and correct this time round, and Sjaak's graceful falsetto vocals sound even more effortless. The song itself, they explain, is about "the special dynamics between two people getting to know each other" and the pressure we feel to try to make the best first impression.
First dates can be stressful, so if you need to calm your nerves, maybe put this one on instead of knocking back a drink.
