Glaswegian radio host and DJ Arielle Free should be well known to ravers on either side of the border. A regular fixture on Ministry Of Sound radio before jumping to Radio 1, Arielle’s been a consistent source of the best new house and techno slammers for a few years now.
In the spirit of ‘new year, new me’, 2022 sees Arielle get even busier as she gets in her producer bag. She’s been honing her craft for a little while now and she’s finally ready to let us hear the first fruits of her labour, “Soul Full”.
Joining her on her maiden voyage are Bristol duo Mortimer and vocalist Joe Killington. A big, stomping number, it doesn’t waste any time getting into it, mixing a sturdy 4x4 rhythm section with a colourful twist of disco, all tied together by Killington’s room-filling declaration that “We got a love that’s real”. Just in time for the weekend.
