Led by an unassuming acoustic guitar riff, the new single stirs together all her pop and indie influences into a charming, sweetly-sung takedown of sneering mean girls everywhere. Though she cites a lot '70s and '80s classics as inspirations, her sound isn't too nostalgic, instead sitting firmly in the realm of 2019.
