Oxlade Recruits Dave For New Summer Gem “Intoxycated”

Having struck gold last year when he dropped “Ku Lo Sa” (and the remix with Camila Cabello), Afrofusion alchemist Oxlade is back with a brand new single, “Intoxycated”, and he’s called on Dave for the assist.

It’s a very different vibe from Dave’s other recent collab—the record-breaking “Sprinter” with Central Cee—but there’s still an unmistakable warmth to it. The smooth yet bouncy production from Deeyasso, Spax & The Kazes offers the perfect connective tissue between Oxlade’s melodies and Dave’s inward-looking rhymes.

It looks like there’s a good chance of a video for this one, but even without a video, you can be sure this one will be on heavy rotation through the rest of summer, rain or shine. And, according to a recent Tweet, Oxlade also has what he calls a “legend-studded body of work” on the way, too.
