Back with another summer slammer, Nia Archives returns with “Bad Gyalz”. Featuring a vocal clip from legendary MC Moose and some additional production from Clipz, the new banger adds to what Nia has been calling ‘a quintessentially junglist summer’.

“Bad Gyalz” follows the Sunrise Bang Ur Head Against The Wall EP, “Off With Ya Headz” and the massive remix of Jorja Smith’s “Little Things”. Just like the latter drop, “Bad Gyalz” also comes with a high-energy visual. Directed by Talia Beale, it’s jammed with ‘90s rave nostalgia and a feel-good celebration of women, non-binary and LGBTQ+ in rave.

Explaining what inspired the track, Nia shares: “I was on ma way to the studio with Clipz listening to Ranking Ann, who is one of my fave MCs—period. And then I was just thinking about the fact that like whenever I go to one of my shows, it’s like 85% women, aged 18-25, which is amazing! And they are all baddies, absolute junglists. So I wanted to make a song that represents that and the women that come to my raves. And that’s how ‘Bad Gyalz’ was born.”

To celebrate the new release, she’s also announced a free Bad Gyalz Day Party to take place this Sunday, August 6, at 60 Dock Road “4 tha bad gyalz + non-binary + LGBTQ”.
