Having blown up on TikTok and pulling off the feat of leveraging that into real-world success with a series of infectious singles (plus the Nemzzz Type Beat EP), 0161 rap riser Nemzzz has released his debut mixtape, Do Not Disturb.
The 11-track offering builds on everything that makes the rapper’s signature sound so appealing: stuttering, bouncing rap and drill productions mixed with a quick wit and a likeability factor that can’t be faked. Features-wise, Nemzzz has drafted in UK drill stars Headie One and K-Trap, US rap nerd Lil Yatchy, as well as rising talent JayG and German rapper Luciano.
As for production, he calls on long-time collaborator Zel for most of the beats, save for the final track which features an assist from TK The Producer.

Speaking with Complex UK last year, Nemzzz shared his motivation for getting into music on a serious level and wanting to change his life for the better. “I’ve seen a lot of bad things happen in and to Gorton,” he said. “So, for me, it’s motivated me to get out of that environment and just be different and set an example for other people who are lost on their way, trying to get somewhere and make something of their life too.
He added: “Coming from that tough environment gave me some type of beast mode and hunger to change my life, and that’s what I want people from Gorton to take from me.”
