East London’s Lancey Foux has just shared the bold visuals for his recent cut, “MMM HMM”, featuring St. Louis rapper Sexyy Red.
We’ve had quite a lot of guest appearances from Lancey Foux this year, including features for Kwengface, Len, Unknown T, Ghostluvme, Fee Gonzales… the list goes on, but this is the first new drop we’ve had with Lancey as the lead artist since the release of last year’s LIFE IN HELL.
“MMM HMM” packs a bit of a grimey punch, specifically in the raw, grizzled production from Bally. There’s even more toughness in Sexyy Red whose punchy flow offers a counterbalance to Lancey’s fluid, Auto-Tuned vocals.
The video’s just as in your face, capturing Lancey and Sexyy on candid camera as they hit their favourite spots, interrupted only by shots of them kicking back in a limo.
The track proved a huge hit when they previewed it together during Lancey’s Wireless set this summer and North Americans can now get a taste of that when Lancey hits the States and Canada on a run of dates in October.
