Nottingham producer Glacci is back with a brand new EP, this time for Plastician's thoroughly consistent Terrorhythm Recordings. The Lucid EP is Glacci's first since Heaterz Vol. 1 in December of last year and carries on pretty much where the last EP left off. Lucid features six full-bodied tracks that feature grime, trap and a few other influences along the way, though with a restraint that leaves room for plenty of nuance and subtlety. Tracks like "Lucid"—and to a lesser extent "Oracle" and "Firebrick"—even feature a hint of trance, while elsewhere snippets of UKG and more experimental sounds can be heard mixed in with the decidedly tough grime instrumentals.
