Sam Smith recently sold out Madison Square Garden in 30 minutes. It’s safe to say he’s “arrived” if nothing else. Smith’s 2014 has been memorable, as he released his debut album and has since become an international star. Mr. Smith’s music has been a target of top quality remixers for most of 2014, and that trend continues with Jonas Rathsman’s new take on “Like I Can.” The French Express artist brings an icy cold slice of old school Swedish progressive and deep house. Rathsman’s sound is expansive and lush and it shines on this track.
