Coyote Kisses. You might know this name because you heard their contest-winning heater remix of Clockwork's "Titan" or their popular cover of Seven Lions' "Days To Come." If you haven't heard either of those, you're strugglin'. Maybe you heard their infectious and unoffensive official remix of "Call Me Maybe?" The point is, Coyote Kisses is a group that we love and we've had our eye on for some time. In all honesty, they should have been on our Artists To Watch in 2013. That's all water under the bridge now as the duo is set to release their follow-up EP, Thundercolor, next week. Having listened, bathed, and soaked in the wonderful Thundercolor EP already, we knew we had to drum something special up to both mark the EP's release and help you get to know the lovable duo just a bit better. Joe's cat, Banksy, was recently run over by a car. The duo have written a song called "Black Cat" that pays tribute to their feline friend. This song is due to drop as a single in a couple weeks.
Joe played football in high school, making him the first Jewish person to ever attempt the sport. You're running the wrong way Joe!
Joe has been playing guitar since he was 12. Look how brooding he is!
Joe and Bryce go to different colleges, Washington and Lee and New College respectively.The two schools might be polar opposites in terms of atmosphere. Washington and Lee is a J Crew catalog come to life and New College is a hippie commune without all the "rules."
Bryce speaks fluent Russian and dabbles in Klingon. He may or may not be a an evil space communist from the horsehead nebula.
Bryce's signature bleached blond mohawk needs weekly upkeep. If you were to cut it off he'd lose all his musical talent.
Joe's arms were CGI'd into the movie Fight Club onto Brad Pitt's body. Joe and Brad remain good friends.
Bryce is a classically-trained pianist. He's been a music major at New College in Sarasota the last four years. His professors are all CK fans.
