Kash Doll enlisted the talents of Wale and Eric Bellinger to complete her latest track “Single & Happy,” set to appear on her upcoming album.
She also dropped a lyric video in tandem with the single. Watch that above.
“Single & Happy” gets straight to the point: understanding your self worth and seeking a partner who only adds to what you already have, rather than becoming someone you can’t live without. Kash echoes the song’s message in every bar, especially when she spits, “I deserve the stars and the planets too/I got my own bag, but I still want you to spoil me/Yeah, and all I asked from you was loyalty/Look, I’m a queen, treat me like I’m royalty.”
Wale and Eric Bellinger enhance “Single & Happy” with a smooth verse from the D.C. rapper and well-placed vocals from Bellinger.
“Single & Happy” follows Kash Doll’s single “Like a Pro” featuring Juicy J. That track was the follow-up to a series of one-off songs and guest appearances Kash has been making over the last few months. The Detroit rapper also appeared on the soundtrack for Warner Bros.’ Space Jam: A New Legacy alongside the likes of Saweetie, Salt-N-Pepa, Lil Tecca, Cordae, G-Eazy, Lil Uzi Vert, Big Freedia, and more.
