In a Super Bowl LVIII commercial, Beyoncé announced her upcoming album, Act II, will drop on March 29. The album is a follow-up to her critically acclaimed 2022 album Renaissance. The 42-year-old singer also released two singles, "Texas Hold 'Em" and "16 Carriages," on streaming services.
The ad, which pays homage to the 1984 Wim Wenders-directed road drama Paris, Texas, shows the singer driving a taxi soundtracked to various country songs before settling on "Texas Hold 'Em." Beyoncé previously experimented with a country sound on the song "Daddy Lessons" from 2016's Lemonade.
The album was teased at the very end of Bey's Verizon Super Bowl ad when she says "drop the new music" at the very end.
