Today, Method Man hits the road to kick off the Smokers Club tour in Philadelphia alongside the likes of Curren$y, Big K.R.I.T., Smoke DZA, and more. The tour will run into late November and have the crew hitting up over 30 cities across the United States and Canada (be sure to check Complex for giveaways, recaps, and more from the tour). Although we’re excited to see all of the acts do their thing, there is something special about seeing the M.E.T.H.O.D. Man tear up a stage.
In case you’ve never witnessed it, trust us when we say that the Shaolin representer puts on a good show. Besides being one of the most energetic performers in hip-hop, Tical’s trademark move in recent years has become to jump into the crowd and stand on the hands of fans. Before heading off on tour, we got on the horn with the Sour Patch Kids spokesman and he told us about the mistakes a lot of young rappers make on stage, the reaction he gets when he gets high (on the hands of his fans), and the time he bought weed with Snoop Dogg and Tha Dogg Pound.
