Drizzy and his dad, Dennis Graham, have released a new ad for Virginia Black Whiskey, and let's just say it showcases Drake's game about as well as that time Rihanna dodged the hell out of his lips at the 2016 VMA's.
The ad, which appears to be a sequel of the Virginia Black ad released in July, shows Drake mesmerized by a woman across the bar while "Passionfruit" hums in the background. When Drake tries to shoot his shot and approach her, she passes him up for none other than the Graham patriarch himself.
As Drizzy turns around to see where the mystery woman had gone, Dennis Graham chimes in and says, "hey son, hold my drink." He then looks back at Aubrey and comments "nice turtleneck," because why not kick him while he's still down.
The clip has a distinguishable 70's nightlife vibe, which is the theme Drake and Virginia Black's CEO and co-founder Hocking intended when they launched the whiskey in 2016. According to Business Insider, Hocking said Virginia Black is meant to showcase the, "style, fashion, and music of the 70s," where "nightlife was truly nightlife."
