Before Bas' new album Milky Way drops on August 24, the Dreamville rapper has released his highly-anticipated collaboration with label boss J. Cole.

A month after previewing the track for fans at Woo Hah! Festival in the Netherlands, the full studio version of "Tribe," along with a music video, arrived late Tuesday night. Over laid-back strums of an acoustic guitar, the pair combine for a melodic single that takes on a lighter feel than their 2016 collaboration "Night Job." This one sounds ready for heavy spins during the final summer evenings of the year. Hear "Tribe" on iTunes/Apple Music or via Spotify below.

Bas announced the arrival of "Tribe" on Tuesday afternoon with two tweets that previewed the song's accompanying music video.

This is the second time Bas has collaborated with J. Cole this year, following the release of his Cole-co-produced song "Pinball II" featuring Correy C that arrived in April. Bas told fans on Tuesday that the song did not make the Milky Way tracklist, although he admits the decision was "a toughhhh call."

In June, he dropped a summer-ready single with ASAP Ferg called "Boca Raton" that will be on the album. You can watch the bright Scott Lazer-directed video for that below.
