Drake’s OVO Sound Radio returns for its 23rd episode today. Drizzy has promised to DJ part of the show, while OVO Sound signee Roy Wood$ will be premiering a mix as well.
Last month, Drake’s VIEWS continued to prove its staying power on various Billboard charts. Currently, VIEWS is still No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart for the fourth week, earning the most weeks at No. 1 by a male artist in four years. The album is a favorite on streaming services, where it has officially generated over one billion streams in total for its tracks. Not to mention that Drake’s "One Dance" holds the No. 1 spot on the Hot 100, beating out Desiigner’s "Panda" and Justin Timberlake’s "Cant’ Stop the Feeling."
Avid listeners of OVO Sound Radio know that they’ll mix in a variety of songs from Drake’s catalogue, as well as some surprise throwbacks. While VIEWS tracks will certainly be in abundance, look for the debut of Drake and DJ Khaled’s summer anthem “For Free” and maybe even the premiere of Justin Bieber’s “One Dance” remix, which was played at1 OAK’s F1 OAK pop up in Monaco.
