Azealia Banks got into a Twitter beef with another rapper this week, as she's known to do every so often. This time it was with T.I. and his wife, Tiny, who Banks described as having a "meth mouth." Her comments didn't sit well with T.I., who fired back by threatening Banks. Will anything come of this online war of words? For the sake of both rappers, we hope not.
In other news, Lil Wayne revealed he will be releasing two albums this year: Tha Carter V and another unnamed project. And Pharrell received one of the biggest honors in Hollywood.

Casey Kasem, legendary radio host and co-founder of American Top 40, passed away at the age of 82.

Legendary radio personality and the original host of American Top 40, Casey Kasem, has passed away. His daughter, Kerri Kasem, reported the news on her official Facebook account earlier this week. Kasem was suffering from Parkinson's disease and was taken off of life support by his children.
The final months of Kasem's life were marred by an ugly legal battle between Kasem's wife, Jean Kasem, and his children. Kasem's children from his previous marriage claimed that Jean Kasem was denying them access to see their father. Along with hosting American Top 40, Kasem was also the voice of Shaggy on Scooby Doo. —Zach Frydenlund

The drama between Game and 50 Cent is no secret and doesn't seem like it's going to go away soon. Earlier this week, 50 announced that his next album, Street King Immortal, will be released on September 16. Game's new album, Blood Money La Familia, is slated to drop the same day.
Game announced his release date earlier this month, and revealed that he would be putting out the album independently. With 50 also being independent, did he pull a fast one, and decide to intentionally drop on the same day as Game?
With the date now locked in, we just have to hope that neither album gets pushed back. Could you imagine the promo these two are going to pull out going up against each other? If only this would have happened in 2005. —Zach Frydenlund

Azealia Banks has been pretty quiet online lately but she was back at it earlier this week on Twitter throwing shots at T.I. and his wife, Tiny. The insults seemed to come out of nowhere-Azealia started tweeting about Tiny having a "meth mouth," and apparently made reference to T.I. and Iggy Azalea's new single, "No Mediocre." T.I. then reacted on Instagram and threatened Azealia over her comments about his wife.
Following Azealia's comments last night, Tiny took to her Instagram with a pretty straightforward message for Azealia. Following their posts, Azealia went on a Twitter rampage, calling out T.I. and saying she will sue him for threatening her. —Zach Frydenlund

Jay Z and Mariah Carey both announced new beverage lines which will be sold in Walgreens and Duane Reade.

Are you ready to try Jay Z's "40/40?" How about Mariah Carey's "Butterfly?" Before you get too confused, know that those are the names of the drinks for the new beverage line that Hov and Mariah just launched with executive Kevin Liles. The announcement was made today that the new beverages line will be hitting over 7,000 Duane Ready and Walgreens stores across the country soon.
What do they taste like? Mariah's "Butterfly" is described as a pink concoction aimed for "young to middle-aged women." Sounds like a special treat to us. Jay's on the other hand is "an Arnold Palmer-esque" beverage that will apparently tickle the outgoing sporting man in just the right spot. Young Thug contined to show off his wild side by recording a song while getting tatted.

Young Thug has quickly become one of rap's most endearing characters. He's wildly charismatic and it shows through his plethora of interesting and genre-bending music. Tonight, longtime friend and producer Metro Boomin posted a picture of Young Thug recording while getting a tattoo. Thug is already covered in tattoos, but this picture is seemingly showing that his dedication to ink is equal to his dedication to music. —Justin Davis

Dr. Dre dropped a $5,000 tip for a round of tequila shots, raising the gratuity bar for celebrities everywhere.

Dr. Dre has no worries. Since his massive deal went through with Apple, Dre has supposedly been living it up, going to the movies and leaving massive tips for waitresses.
Radar Online reported that Dre was in such a giving mood on his recent night out in Hollywood, that he left a whopping $5,000 tip for his waitress after ordering some tequila shots. It must have been some pretty damn good tequila. The waitress was reportedly "stunned" by the nice gesture from Dre, but who wouldn't be? Talk about a solid come up. —Zach Frydenlund

Angie Martinez resigned from Hot 97, her radio home for nearly 15 years, to join Power 105.

Angie Martinez announced that she was resgining from Hot 97 this week. The news comes as a surprise to many, as Angie has been considered by most as the voice of New York radio for almost 15 years. Her most recent role at the station was the host of the "Afternoon Drive" alongside DJ Enuff. Throughout her radio career, Angie has interviewed almost every major name in the game, including Nicki Minaj, Pharrell, Nas, and so many more.
Angie has officially moved to Power 105. She will take over the 2-6 p.m. time slot beginning in July.—Zach Frydenlund
Lil Wayne revealed plans to drop Tha Carter V and a second album this year.

Things have been pretty quiet from Lil Wayne as far as any new developments on his upcoming album Tha Carter V, but the latest episode of "Weezy Wednesdays" contains a very special announcement.
Wayne revealed that he will be dropping Tha Carter V and another album as well. He explains that he realized that he had too many songs for Carter V, which created the need for him to have the other songs live on another project which he is calling The Other Album.
This announcement is exciting, but one has to wonder when they will actually release. With six months left in the year, Lil Wayne will have to work overtime in order to drop both in a timely fashion. It is also worth mentioning that Wayne has already gone back on his previous claims that Tha Carter V would be his final album.—Justin Davis

A shooting took place following a Nas and ScHoolboy Q concert in Colorado that left three people injured.

Nas, ScHoolboy Q, and Flying Lotus had a concert at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Denver, Colorado this. Following the concert, a shooting broke out in the parking lot of the venue. Three people were injured in the shooting; they were reportedly found by Denver police on 6th Avenue and Kalamath Street, and were transported to the Denver Health Medical Center. Two other passengers were also in the vehicle with the victims.
A picture of ScHoolboy Q being taken into custody has been circulating online in the wake of the incident, but according to the Jefferson County Sherriff's Office's Twitter page, nobody has been taken into custody yet. The Denver Post is also reporting no arrests have been made. As of now, none of the artists who performed have responded to the shooting, but ScHoolboy did take a picture with Nas during the earlier in the evening.
According to reporter James Dougherty, ScHoolboy Q was detained at 7th Avenue and Kalamath Street in Denver. This happens to be in the area where the three shooting victims were located. —Dharmic X
Pharrell was among the chosen few to be honored with their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2015.

Mark down another win for Pharrell. The Hollywood Walk of Fame Selection Committee announced Pharrell will be one of the selections to receive a star on the Walk of Fame in 2015. Along with Pharrell, Pitbull, Will Ferrell, Amy Poehler, Kelly Ripa, and Dr. Luke, and more will all be receiving stars in 2015.
On the 2015 inductees, Chairman of the selection committee, Maureen Schultz said, "We know that the new selections represent the best of the entertainment industry and will be a great addition to the Walk of Fame for both the Hollywood community and fans from around the world who visit Hollywood every year."
