Welcome to hip-hop's most heated war of words. On the third episode of ComplexTV's "No Debate," our host Bauce Sauce is joined by Brian "B.Dot" Miller (Content Director, Rap Radar), Ernest Baker (Cultural critic and writer), Combat Jack (Host, The Combat Jack Show), and Insanul Ahmed(Associate Editor, Complex).
The first topic to open up the show is Iggy Azalea, and whether the 24-year-old Australian artist has a chance to sweep the rap Grammys in 2015, a similar move made by Macklemore earlier this year. While Iggy is certainly dominating the singles chart at the moment with "Fancy" and "Problem," the discussion turns to her credibility as a rapper.
Later, the panelists break down what they believe is the real motivation behind think pieces—the subject, or the writer's ego. They also cover the sensitive topic of whether 50 Cent—and older rappers in general—should hang up the mic.
All that and more in episode three of "No Debate" on Complex TV.
