Jacob Latimore is proving to be a double threat in the entertainment industry. The 20-year-old will star in Collateral Beauty alongside Will Smith which is set to hit theaters Dec. 16. That's not the only project he has dropping in December, as Latimore is also set to release his debut album Connection Dec. 9. To get fans hyped, he shares the video for "The Real" featuring fellow Milwaukee artist Ishdarr. The visual finds the two going all out with their crew, fitting a youthful spirit that is apparent in Latimore's music.
“Since me and Ishdarr are from Milwaukee, I figured it only made since to shoot at home," Latimore told Complex via email. "The video was directed by Philly Fly Boy, who’s also from Milwaukee. This is probably our fourth time working together on a video. We've built a dope chemistry."
"All of my videos have had a concept and lots of choreography," he continued. "I wanted to change the direction and just swag out with family, friends, and females. And also drive some old school whips. I also called up some Milwaukee music legends: Coo Coo Cal and Baby Drew, a popular street rapper, to make their cameo in the video.”
