Did you see Lil Wayne wearing the bright red Beats By Dre headphones during the VMAs? Those are from his new Beats Pro line, and after the awards, both Weezy and Beats took over L.A. nightclub Playhouse to celebrate the partnership.
The event was a star-studded affair with Wiz Khalifa, French Montana, and LMFAO all making appearances. Of course, we had a photographer on the scene. Read on for a minute-by-minute recap of everything that went down in Hollywood last night.

DJ Drama and YMCMB DJ Stevie J play hits from Wayne’s back catalog, spanning from Tha Carter to his No Ceilings mixtape. Regrettably, no material from I Am Not A Human Being will be played tonight.
Open bar suspicions are confirmed.

10:45 p.m.
Our first celebrity hits the Beats red carpet outside of Playhouse. LMFAO’s Sky Blu mugged for cameras and shuffled into the club.

10:55 p.m.
Jersey Shore stars Ronnie and Sammi Sweetheart hit the red carpet looking worn out from the VMA festivities. Ronnie tells media his favorite part of the night was A$AP Rocky grabbing Rihanna’s ass.

11:15 p.m.
French Montana makes his grand entrance, wearing a silk shirt and Versace shades. “Hey, French. Fanute,” I say before dipping inside to see who else is here.

11:45 p.m.
DJ Drama and Stevie J dedicate a brief Wiz Khalifa medley to the expectant father, who is present without fiancé Amber Rose, drinking a Lil Wayne-branded limited edition bottle of Louis Roederer. Machine Gun Kelly goofs off across the club. Mac Miller is in the mix, too.

12:00 a.m.
Scott Storch is in here looking like 2004. Didn’t see him with old pal Dr. Dre though. Dre, after all, is the impetus of the energy that made tonight possible. Thanks to his Beats By Dre headphones, Forbes recently named him hip-hop's No. 1 earner of 2012, despite not dropping a new album in over a decade.

That open bar is hitting the crowd hard. The best part? No brawls, fights, or thrown bottles.

Lil Wayne hits the stage to perform. I hit the Beats By Dre photo booth and start blue-steeling for the camera.

The crowd spills onto Hollywood Boulevard, with ears ringing and stomachs growling. Machine Gun Kelly and his entourage max out at Joel’s Pizza next door. RiFF RAFF takes pictures with gracious fans before jumping into a black Range Rover in search of his next adventure. The party is a success.
