The eastern seaboard is covered in more powdery white than Tony Montana's desk, but that's no reason to hole yourself up in the crib waiting for a team of assassins to take you out. This weekend there's plenty going on in and out of NYC's winter wonderland and the frigid weather is all the more reason to makes moves to club and push up on something soft and warm. From heavyweights like Jay-Z and Young Jeezy taking over the A to headstrong boundary pushers like Kidz In The Hall and 88 Keys in New York, check below for where you need to be this weekend in NYC, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Chicago...

YES GIANTESS in NEW YORK
WHEN? Friday, 2/26
WHERE? Brooklyn Bowl
WHY? If you be needin' to dance your troubles away, Brooklyn Bowl is where you'll be on Friday night. Yes Giantess, comprised of former members of both Passion Pit and The Death Set, supported by Red Wire Black Wire, is a steal for only a 5 spot. There will be girls. They will be dancing. Get involved.

Wizkhalifa

WIZ KHALIFA in CHICAGO
WHEN? Friday, 2/26
WHERE? Abbey Pub
WHY? Fresh off the announcement of his place in XXL's Freshmen Class of 2010, Khalifa continues his reign of terror on stages across the country. Also appearing is Wu Tang Clan's U-God, who Khalifa himself opened up for not even 6 months ago.

memorytapes

MEMORY TAPES in LOS ANGELES
WHEN? Friday, 2/26
WHERE? Graceland
WHY? Dayve Hawk as Memory Tapes has stellar remixes for hipster faves as varied as both Tanlines and Gucci Mane, but we've only heard music from his debut Seek Magic in an extremely young performance career. This would be kind of a bummer if the album wasn't a basket full of flighty post-disco knocks and reclusive funk.

jay-z-jeezy

JAY-Z AND YOUNG JEEZY in ATLANTA
WHEN? Saturday, 2/27
WHERE? Philips Arena
WHY? Jiggaman's Blueprint 3 tour continues, this time stopping off in the A, with Jeezy as power forward to Coach Carter. It is "Black Hollywood," so you never know who might grace the stage or who you could end up sitting next to for that matter, but with the catalogue of "arena rap" anthems the pair have, the show should be nothing short of epic.

KIDZ IN THE HALL, 88 KEYS & DONNIS in NYC
WHEN? Sunday, 2/28
WHERE? Highline Ballroom
WHY? Kidz In The Hall and 88 Keys come from a corner of the rap world where everything from a song's drum kicks to it's vocal distortion are poured over for months on end. While Kidz should have some bangers from the forthcoming Land of Make Believe, newcomer Donnis is the cherry on top for the Highline show, a venue that doesn't really have bad seat in the house.
