Kanye West shared the seven deadly sins on Monday via Twitter, and people were wondering and guessing what it could be in connection to.
Terrence "Punch" Henderson of Top Dawg Entertainment made his own speculations, tweeting, “I hope this is where @Nas is going with his album. Perfect way to lay out those 7 tracks.”
In case everyone forgot, the seven deadly sins are greed, gluttony, lust, envy, sloth, wrath, and pride.
The next album to release during Kanye’s onslaught of music in June is Nas’, which drops on June 15. As some of you might remember, back in March 2016, Kanye revealed that he’d promised President Obama he would “do beats on Nas' next album.”
Nas is one of the many artists who was reportedly seen in Wyoming during Kanye’s musical sabbatical. The two of them appeared together on French Montana's 2016 single “Figure It Out” and have collaborated a number times in the past—including Hip Hop Is Dead songs “Still Dreaming” and “Let There Be Light,” Lost Tapes’ “Poppa Was A Player,” and Late Registration’s “We Major.”
On Monday, it was announced that the entirety of Kanye’s album ye had charted on the Billboard Hot 100, per Chartdata. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Kanye's collaborative project with Kid Cudi, Kids See Ghosts will garner the same results, moving nearly 100,000 units less than ye was originally predicted to earn its first week; and about 30,000 more than what Pusha-T’s DAYTONA album earned in its first week.
