G Herbo has had an unsuspectingly stellar year so far, and to keep the momentum going, he’s dropped off the new single and accompanying video for “Focused.”
In the aptly titled video, we see Herbo squaded up and smoking in the car and his home, flexing his money and chains, and talking about his come up. “I was dead broke, made no excuses / Fuck, ni**a, I don't wanna hear about it / I was on the block, you ain't care 'bout it,” he raps.
If anything, the Chicago native deserves it: after he was arrested and charged with illegal gun possession in February, and subsequently released, he came back with a vengeance, dropping the incredible freestyle “Who Run It,” which he later dropped at the behest of Drake. Herbo then released the video for the “Everything (Remix)” in April, featuring Chance the Rapper and Lil Uzi Vert. Herbo's already set himself up for a solid 2018.
