Kanye West has a devout fan in Donald Glover.

For Complex’s GOAT Talk, Glover sat down with Mr. and Mrs. Smith co-star Maya Erskine to discuss who and what he considers goated. When asked who he thinks is the greatest rapper of all time, Glover named Kanye. “I know that’s controversial,” he added at around the 12:30 minute mark.

Erskine then shouted, “Whoa!”

“But I feel like we would not have any of the rappers we have now without him,” Glover explained.

The pair are set to star in Amazon Prime Video’s series Mr. and Mrs. Smith, in which Glover and Erskine play the titular characters: two spies who work for a top-secret agency and have to pretend to be married. The film is a remake of the 2005 film of the same name, which starred Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in the lead roles.

Glover and Erskine recently appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to discuss the show and the advice he received from Brad Pitt.

“He didn’t give me any real point—he kind of Brad Pitted his way out of it,” said Glover. “[Pitt] kind of, you know, charmed his way. He was like, ‘You’ll do great.’”

The series also stars Parker Posey, Wagner Moura, Paul Dano, Michaela Coel, and John Turturro. Glover and Francesca Sloane serve as executive producers, as well as Hiro Murai and Stephen Glover.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith is streaming now on Amazon Prime Video. Watch Glover and Erskine's entire GOAT Talk up top.
