Wiz Khalifa delivered this weekend.

The Taylor Gang boss spent the end of last week teasing the official video for his first track of 2020, "Real Rappers Rap."

The song, produced by Big Jerm, is everything fans love about Wiz's older sound: laid-back instrumentals, R&B samples, and plenty of weed references.

"Came from nothing, we ain't taking pacing backwards, only thing that matters/We all ran from police, most of us ain't get captured," he raps in the first verse. "Money under the mattress, roll this joint, I'ma tax it/You wasn't there, you don't know what a classic is/Just roll one up, try your best to imagine this."

The "Real Rappers Rap" video is straight-forward and realitively simple—which goes well with the chill, almost hazy, cut. We simply see Wiz in a dark space with the spotlight shinning on him as he delivers the lines and smokes a blunt.

The track and accompanying visual arrives after a big year for Wiz. Not only did he appear on a number of collaborative tracks—teaming up with the likes of Max B, Blac Youngsta, and Ayanis—he also landed a role on Apple TV+'s original series Dickinson, in which he played the personification of death.
