Vory returns with the official video for “Happy Birthday 2U,” a standout track from his debut studio album Lost Souls.
Directed by Loris Russier, the visual centers on Vory’s girlfriend, who embarks on a birthday getaway with a group of friends. We see the women living it up throughout the trip—enjoying late night cruises, evenings by the pool, and dance parties in the kitchen. However, a dark cloud looms over the events as Vory’s lady starts realizing the artist is having an affair with one of her friends.
“I was fallin’ for your best friend, she does all the things you won’t,” Vory sings. “She’s everything that you’re not for me/Everything that you got from me/We took a trip on your birthday and I fucked your best friend and you never knew it.”

The visual arrives nearly three months after Vory shared Lost Souls. The project delivered 17 tracks with guest appearances by Kanye West, Nav, Beam, and more. Vory told Complex his music touches on feelings and emotions that others find too uncomfortable to express.
“I feel like a lot of people go through it, they just don’t like to talk about it,” he said. “Like other artists. I be having artists and all types of athletes say to me, ‘Bro, you be going through the same shit that I be going through. I was just thinking that.’”
