Well, it was cool while it lasted.

Only one day after he made his big return to social media, Kanye West has once again deactivated his Instagram account. No, really—look for yourself.

Though some people expected this to happen, many others were hopeful that his series of Valentine’s Day posts marked his social media comeback.

After posting a V-Day message to his wife, Kim Kardashian, Kanye spent the next following hours posting multiple photos of famous couples, including Barack and Michelle Obama, Kate Moss and Pete Doherty, Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz, as well as John Lennon and Yoko Ono. (Beyoncé and Jay Z were suspiciously left out.)

Ye scrubbed his social media presence in May of 2017, after he and his family endured a series of hardships. Though we’re sure most fans would’ve enjoyed more Instagram posts from the rapper, you have to consider whether the platform is beneficial or detrimental to his wellbeing.

From the looks of it, life is pretty good for Kanye at the moment. He just welcomed his third child, Chicago; is expected to release new music in the coming months; and recently settled a $10 million lawsuit over the Saint Pablo Tour cancelation. He reportedly left social media in 2017 to “focus on stuff that matters,” and it seems that the time off did him some good.
