Charlie Wilson is celebrating love with his new single "Forever Valentine."

The legendary singer created the track with the help of Bruno Mars, who produced the record alongside The Stereotypes and D’Mile. Wilson told Billboard he and Bruno had been working on "Forever Valentine" as far back as 2018, when he performed select dates on the 24K Magic World Tour.

"I’ve been having so much fun with this record ... We talked about the song’s vibe for a while, put a chorus down and then didn’t see each other for a while," Wilson explained. "... Bruno is a firecracker; high energy like me on the stage," Wilson said. "We talk about that all the time as we have a lot of admiration and respect for each other. It’s a beautiful thing when two people have that kind of connection. Nothing but great things can come of that."

Bruno clearly agreed. He shared a photo and a quick message about the single on his Instagram page, saying it was an "honor to produce and sing a little background for" Uncle Charlie.

Bruno also co-wrote the record with Wilson, Micah Powell, and Seth Reger.  James Fauntleroy also provided background vocals on the track.

You can listen to the "Forever Valentine" now on all major platforms, including YouTube above.
