Just a day after being released from the hospital, and a week after being shot in the neck, Lil Reese is back with new music. The Chicago rapper dropped “Come Outside” on Monday, which was reportedly recorded before the shooting occurred. That might explain why Reese doesn’t address the shooting on the track.

He did however, have plenty to say on Twitter, where he addressed the incident and thanked fans for their support. "I appreciate everybody keeping me in they prayers tho I can't lie thank y'all no matter what you do out here always talk to god," he wrote.

Reese also took to Instagram, where he posted an image of the stitches in his neck, and captioned it by saying, “Made 4 it Lifes a gamble I got hella luck."

The shooting occurred while Reese was in Chicago at an intersection. No arrests have been made.
