It’s been almost two months now since rumors about the release of Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj’s "Swish Swish" music video first started circulating online. At one time, Katy and Nicki fans thought the video was going to drop shortly after Nicki performed a medley of hits at the first-ever NBA Awards back in late June.

The video didn’t drop then, but it did drop very early Thursday morning when Katy took to social media to officially release the basketball-themed video, which features what she calls "THE MOST ABSURD GAME OF THE CENTURY."

The video includes a hodgepodge of cameos from celebrities with everyone from Rich Eisen, Bill Walton, and Rob Gronkowski to Terry Crews, Molly Shannon, and Gaten Matarazzo from Stranger Things popping up in it. Glee’s Jenna Ushkowitz, "Backpack Kid" Russell Horning, actor and model Dexter Mayfield, competitive eater Joey Chestnut, the cast of Netflix’s GLOW, and Games of Thrones actor Hafþór Júlíus "Thor" Björnsson also make appearances. And it more than lives up to Katy’s "ABSURD" billing, as there is a lot of craziness going on throughout the course of the video. You can check it out above.

"Swish Swish" first premiered back in May with many people initially believing the song was meant to be a diss track directed at Taylor Swift and Remy Ma, who have had highly publicized beefs with Katy and Nicki. It was the third single off Katy’s fifth album, Witness, which was released in early June.
