Big K.R.I.T. Reveals He Has No Plans to Retire Anytime Soon

While engaging with fans in a Q&A on his Reddit page, Mississippi rapper Big K.R.I.T. revealed that he has no plans to hang up the microphone anytime soon.

Fresh off the release of his fifth studio album Digital Roses Don’t Die, Big K.R.I.T. took to Reddit this week for an “Ask Me Anything” session.

When asked by a fan about his retirement plans, the Mississippi rapper maintained that he has no plans of hanging up the microphone anytime soon. 

“It’s definitely ‘Multi Till the Sun Die’ with producing music,” he wrote. “I think id be cool with retiring the microphone before I turn 60 lol.”

The bold statement arrives just a week after K.R.I.T. dropped his latest full-length offering. The 17-track full-length sees production from Grammy-nominated producer Camper, whose collaborators include Brandy, Diddy, H.E.R., and Chris Brown. Digital Roses Don’t Die features one guest appearance from Rolynné on the song “Wet Lashes & Shot Glasses.”

The new project follows the Mississippi rapper releasing five of his most influential mixtapesReturn Of 4eva, 4eva N A DayKing Remembered in TimeIt’s Better This Way, and A Style Not Quite Free (f.k.a. 12 for 12) to streaming services for the first time.

Earlier this month, K.R.I.T. announced his Digital Roses Tour with special guests Elhae and Price. The U.S. jaunt kicks off on April 21 in Raleigh, North Carolina, and ends on June 10 in Atlanta Georgia.
