In a since deleted post on his Instagram, YoungBoy Never Broke Again has opened up about his “last album” and seemingly addressed Kodak Black’s criticism.

YoungBoy released his most recent album The Last Slimeto just last week, and now he’s seemed to indicate that it is, in fact, his last full-length record as a rapper. “To be honest I really don’t care about this being my last album,” he wrote in the caption for the post, which is since nowhere to be found. “I finally can say I completed something. I ain’t finish school. I never finish nothing but my smoke… but nah gangster I then shedded tears from the way y’all been doing me but it’s all for the better.”

It’s not uncommon for rappers to announce an early retirement only to come back with another new record not long after. Logic notably did it, as did The Game and even Jay-Z. It’s unclear how serious he is about not dropping anything else after this. After paying tribute to his late brother Dave and his grandmother, YoungBoy then appeared to reference Kodak’s recent criticism of his fanbase.

“P.S. you don’t like my fans I don’t like you ‘pussy,’” he wrote.

Earlier this month, Kodak Black pushed back against YoungBoy’s fanbase constantly chiming in with “YB better” in the replies and comments on social media. “Bra I like YoungBoy music,” he wrote. “Just this n***a fans homie! Or whoever tf behind all this #YBBETTER shit. That shit be irritating… and can’t nobody else say they don’t feel me. A n***a too real. I ain’t hating on no fuckin’ body. I just say what everybody else scared to say.”

He even joked that he can post a photo of a cheeseburger, or literally anything else, without YoungBoy’s fans reminding him, “YB post his burger better.”
