On the latest episode of The Complex Sneakers Show, Westside Gunn revealed that Griselda will release the sequel to its 2019 group album WWCD.

"'24 is going to be probably one of the biggest years for Griselda," he said at the 1:09:30 point of the episode, as seen above. "Because, for the last couple years, you know, Conway been doing his thing. He has a label, Drumwork, that he's pushing, he's the boss of. And you know, Benny has BSF [Black Soprano Family] and he's the boss of his label and they've been doing they thing. But you know, we are family. There's nothing stronger than us three together. We got to come together and give people What Would Chine Gun Do 2. We have to, for the culture."

Asked by host Brendan Dunne if the sequel album is coming, he replied, "For sure, you heard it first."

The first WWCD album was released through Griselda Records, Shady Records, and Interscope Records in 2019 when the Buffalo, New York group was steadily rising in popularity. The group is separate from the record label, which Conway the Machine left last year. All three maintain a strong relationship regardless of the split and they've continued to collaborate across their respective albums.

All three rappers have been highly prolific and have, or at least plan to, release a solo studio album this year. Conway dropped Won't He Do It, his first non-Griselda Records album, back in May. Westside just recently dropped And Then You Pray for Me, while Benny the Butcher is gearing up to release the long-delayed Everybody Can't Go, which doesn't currently have a release date.
