Not too long ago, Detroit rapper Tee Grizzley announced the follow-up to his 2017 debut album, titled Activated, is arriving next week on May 11, and from what we've already heard it's shaping up to be a fantastic follow-up to his breakthrough. Having shared "Don't Even Trip" featuring Moneybagg Yo and "2 Vaults" featuring Lil Yachty, Activated is looking to be pretty stacked. Now, he's shared another new single from the record with a big name attached.
"F**k it Off," which features Chris Brown, is our latest taste of Activated. The beat is full-on grimy with its huge synths crunching on in the background, but the real attraction here is Grizzley's formidable rapping. Brown provides the hook to the track, but he also opens it up with the first verse. Chris Brown, who has a collaborative project with Joyner Lucas on the way, has been rapping a lot more frequently so far this year.
Activated, as previously mentioned, is available for pre-order now. The album will also feature appearances from Jeezy, Rae Sremmurd, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and YFN Lucci among others.
