Megan Thee Stallion has denied speculation she got engaged to her boyfriend Pardison Fontaine.
“Lol as nice as last night was we are not engaged,” she tweeted on Wednesday. In a comment shared on The Neighborhood Talk’s post on the matter, Megan’s hairstylist Kellon also suggested that the ring in the photos wasn’t on the right hand for it to be an engagement ring.
Rumors the couple had gotten engaged first circulated after they were spotted leaving a restaurant, with Megan sporting a huge ring on her ring finger and a smile on her face. Per TMZ, the couple had been celebrating in New York City following her appearance on Saturday Night Live as both host and musical guest. According to sources, Pardison organized the dinner at Brooklyn Chop House Times Square without her knowledge.
The couple celebrated their two-year anniversary this week, and they shared pictures from the occasion on both of their Instagram accounts. There isn’t a ring to be seen in the photos they shared, though.
Megan simply shared a post that read, “Yr 2 with U,” which was accompanied by a series of photos of them together.
Pardison, meanwhile, shared his own photos alongside the caption, “TWO YEARS AROUND THE SUN … SEEM LIKE WE BEEN ON OUR PLANET … I love lovin you… GOT 4 EVER 2 GO.”
