Kari Faux has teamed up with Mississippi rapper Big K.R.I.T. for her bouncy new single “Turnin’ Heads.”

The song sees Faux celebrate payday in extravagant fashion, over bass-led production that perfectly matches her infectious flow during the verses and reverb-drenched chorus. K.R.I.T., meanwhile, delivers a brief verse that serves as an excellent reminder of why he’s still one of the most consistent southern rappers out. “Turnin’ Heads” follows the release of “Me First,” which Faux shared alongside a slick C.T. Robert-directed video last month.

"This song is a time machine that takes me back to growing up and living in the South," said Faux upon releasing the track. "Just getting paid, hitting the town and seeing cars with candy paint and big rims and aspiring to have that one day for myself. It was an honor to have Big K.R.I.T. as a feature because he was one of the rappers that inspired me coming up and made me feel proud to be country."
