Givēon has shared his new single "Time," which was co-written with Drake and Daniel Pemberton.

Created for David O. Russell’s upcoming mystery comedy Amsterdam, the track takes on a vintage feel thanks to its orchestral production. The song is the lead single from the Amsterdam Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, which arrives on the same day the film hits U.S. theaters, Oct. 7.

“The depth and timeless feel of the record, as well as the incredible cast of talented actors starring in the movie immediately made me gravitate towards the film,” Givēon said in a statement. “I grew up listening and studying Frank Sinatra’s music, so I was excited to convey my admiration while channeling the feel of this film through that sound. Being a part of this incredible record has granted me the opportunity to step outside of my comfort zone.”

In a comment, Drake added that he “loved working with this talented group,” and is “honored to help create something special and original for this meaningful film.” Givēon previously teamed up with Drake for "Chicago Freestyle" in 2020.

Amsterdam features an ensemble cast led by Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, and John David Washington. The three play close friends who become the leading suspects in a ’30s-era murder. The rest of the cast is rounded out by a star-studded selection including Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Rock, Mike Myers, Rami Malek, Robert De Niro, and Taylor Swift in her first major acting role since 2019’s Cats
