Taylor Swift, who's newly married to Travis Kelce, has held the No. 1 spot on the U.K.'s Official Singles Chart for a third week in a row with "Patient Zero."
This isn't a first for the pop star. "Patient Zero" marks Swift's third U.K. No. 1 of the year alone. The other two were “Opalite” and the Toy Story 5 song “I Knew It, I Knew You.”
"Patient Zero" arrived on the Encore deluxe edition of Swift's latest studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, along with three other new songs, including "Cleveland!," "Pink Clouding" and "Babylon." Swift debuted the music video for "Patient Zero" last month at the 2026 MTV VMAs, where she also received the inaugural MTV VMA Artist Director Honors award.
"I got to start making music videos and being a part of music videos 20 years ago, and since then I've gotten to be a part of making 60 music videos, roughly 60," Swift said at the VMAs, according to Billboard, upon receiving the honor. "Eighteen of those I wrote and directed, and I really love writing and directing music videos."
She added, "I gotta tell you, though, the main reason why I love writing and directing music videos so much is because you, the fans, make it so much fun. You make it so rewarding. You actually care about what we're making."
The 2026 MTV VMAs took place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Swift donned a black and silver Tamara Ralph Couture dress for the event.
As for the rest of the U.K.'s Official Singles Chart, Jamie Miller snagged the No. 2 spot with "Babydoll," and Ashe landed at No. 3 with "Stop the Wedding!"
