In January, when Rick Ross crashed his Rolls Royce after being fired upon, apparently he too was strapped with a loaded handgun. The Smith & Wesson semi-automatic weapon had twelve live rounds inside, with eleven in the magazine and one in the chamber.
Ross had a suspended handgun license at the time and the "black and chrome" weapon has since been seized by authorities. It is unclear whether or not he will face charges for possession. According to the police, he “freely advised Officers that he had a firearm on his person,” meaning that he did not attempt to hide the gun. Before making a commitment to firing back, Ross had lost control of the vehicle by making a quick right turn, sending himself and girlfriend Shateria Moragne-El into the "landscaping/steps" of an apartment building.
