Jhayco is teaming up with Peso Pluma for the next chapter of his Vida Rockstar era with their new single “Ex-Special.”

On the track, hitmaker Jhayco’s dance floor-commanding reggaeton gets a regional Mexican flair courtesy of rising star Peso Pluma. This end-of-the-summer banger brings the pair together to sing about their former flames.

“Ex-Special” is the latest entry in a streak of singles from the Puerto Rican rapper. Last month’s “Holanda” quickly shot to the top 40 spot on Spotify's global chart.

Earlier this year, Jhayco dropped additional Vida Rockstar songs dedicated to women such as “Cuerpecito,” and “Mami Chula” with Spanish rapper Quevedo. Some of Jhayco’s notable past collaborations include “En Mi Cuarto” with Skrillex off his sophomore album Timelezz, “DÁKITI” and “Tarot” with Bad Bunny, plus the “No Me Conoce” remix with J. Balvin and Bad Bunny that reached a whopping 2.1 billion YouTube views.

Jhayco is set to perform his high-octane hits on his forthcoming Vida Rockstar Tour when it kicks off on Sept. 28 in Boston. The tour will play arenas and theaters in major U.S. cities including Newark, D.C., Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Miami. The tour wraps up in Fort Myers on Dec. 10.
